Huawei P10 Plus and P10 launched
Huawei recently held a conference in Barcelona, Spain, where it officially released its new smartphones, the Huawei P10 Plus and P10. The company’s CEO, Yu Chengdong, announced the release of these two highly anticipated new phones.
In terms of design, the P10 is similar to the P9. However, it has some notable differences. The P10 has a more rounded border and a joined antenna. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner is in the front, which makes the P10 the first in the P series to have front fingerprint identification.
The P10 is available in different colors, a total of eight colors to be exact. Among these, green and blue are limited editions. Interestingly, Huawei has installed a different theme for each color.
Huawei P10 is equipped with a Kirin 960 CPU. It has a built-in 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage and up to 256GB Micro SD card expansion. It utilizes a 5.1-inch screen with 1080p display resolution. Furthermore, the P10 continues to work with Leica camera. The front shooter is 8 megapixels with F1.9 aperure. The rear has dual, with a 12 megapixel color camera plus an auxiliary 2 megapixel black and white camera, F2.2 aperture and optical image stabilization support. It carries a built-in 3200 mAh battery with Huawei Super Charge support.
Meanwhile, Huawei P10 Plus has a 5.5-inch 2K screen. It also has a Kirin 960 processor, with a built-in 6GB memory and 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage. The dual rear camera of P10 Plus is the same as the P10.
In addition, both have EMUI 5.1, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphones support dual SIM card dual standby.
World’s first 4.5G LTE smartphone
Huawei P10 Plus is the world’s first 4.5G LTE mobile phone. The download speed is up to 600Mbps which is two times that of 4G LTE. Moreover, it has more accurate and faster GPS search speed. Huawei P10’s Home button supports touch return, press Home, and sliding the task bar for switching operations.
