    I have few questions,

    1. Whether this phone is having java support / inbuild?
    2. when its coming to market?
    3. What about the shipping cost to India?

    1. 1. It has no built in Java support.
      2. It was initially released last July 31 and it was sold out immediately. Another batch of phones will be released this month.
      3. Sorry I don’t know. To know the shipping cost to India, visit Fastcardtech’s website and leave a message on their page here: Fastcardtech.

    Hi Kris.
In fastcardtech site , they say it has TV tuner! I haven’t see nothing about it in your review.
In italy it shouldn’t work so i don’t need it.
    Please can you inquiry ?
    thanks a lot.
    Best regards

    1. Hi! I based the specs from other websites that showed information on the phone since Fastcardtech’s details are incomplete. This is normal for phones that are on pre-sale. The specs posted on online shops are not final. When the phone company releases the final details of the phone, the online shops update the specs info.

From my research, I did not see enough indication that the phone has a TV tuner, so I did not include it in the post above.

Kris, can you confirm what 3G frequencies it operates on?
    Thanks, Paul

    1. Hi Paul,
I have searched the different online shops and they all posted quad band 3G frequencies 850/900/1900/2100 MHz for Newman N1. I looked into their official website but there is no information about this phone yet. I’ll update my post once new information comes out.

    Hi Kris,
Thank you for wonderful review – I think I’ve just found my new phone :)
    I have 2 questions :
    1. Where did you get the SAR value from ? Do you think it’s reliable ?
    2. Is there any update on confirming working frequencies ? (I need WCDMA 800/2100 MHZ)

    Thanks !
    Zvi .

    1. Hello! I searched many online shops and they posted the SAR values and 3G frequencies, (850/900/1900/2100 MHz). I cannot really confirm these details because Newsmy’s official website has not posted any information about this phone.

Recomiendo Jiayu G3 y Newsmy Newman N1. Estarán disponibles este mes.

    Hi Kris.

    Thank yoy for all.

I have doubts between these phones. I want to have a good camera and I read that Newman does not look so good. Influences have dual flash.

    What do you recommend?.

    Thank you very much,

    Freelander I10
    AMOI N820
    THL W1+

    1. I think all the phones you listed are great in their own ways. Newman N1 and Freelander I10 have similar specs so they are pretty much the same. Amoi N820 is unique because it has a 3.0 megapixel front camera. It should be great for video calls. It also has a bigger capacity battery (2750 mAh). I’d probably go for it if it is available.

I hope new stock for this phone comes in soon. I’m itching to get this one! Alas, after selling out their previous stock, other merchants priced it to $180-220++.
