    1. Kris Amora

Hi! You can buy it at Fastcardtech but it is only for pre-order. Xiaomi M2 is not yet released in the market. It will be available in October. Fastcardtech is a trusted online shop. I have done several purchases from them without any problems.

    Ciao

Dunque tu consigli fastcardtech come rivenditore? Imagino tu abbia già acquistato da loro in passato dall’Italia? Com’è andata? Lo chiedo anche a chiunque altro voglia rispondermi, non solo all’ amminisratore del sito. Grazie in anticipo a tutti! Ancora complimenti per il grande e ottimo lavoro dietro questo sito. Grazie.
P.S.: Io in passato ho anche comprato del Regno Unito, conoscete qualche buon rivenditore inglese?

    1. Kris Amora

Hi! Thank you for the compliment! Xiaomi M2 is really a powerful phone. It think it will outperform the Samsung Galaxy SIII. Xiaomi’s 1st phone, the M1, has exceeded expectations. I’m expecting the same for the M2.
As an international customer, I highly recommend Fastcardtech. I have made many phone purchases from them and they all succeeded without any problems. They claimed they have shipped many times already to Italy. However, I don’t know if there would be any customs problems in your country.
As for retailers in Europe, I think there are some. You can search them on the internet.

    Oh sorry
I posted my comments on Italian translated version site (I have posted also 2 similar comments because I thinked that my first post was not approved), I noticed just now that the original site is in English. So if you want cancel it, it’s ok. Thanks and compliments for this great site.

    1. Kris Amora

That’s okay. I replied to your comment. I hope my translated message in Italian was correct. Anyway, good luck finding your new phone!

    It’s will work in israel?!

    1. Kris Amora

GSM (2G) will work in Israel. For WCDMA (3G), plese check the frequencies of your local telecom network. Xiaomi M2 supports 850/1900/2100 MHz WCDMA frequencies.

      1. nir

will it support hebrew Language ?

        1. Kris Amora

Hi! It may not support Hebrew language. But you can install custom Hebrew ROMs if you root it. Also, you can ask the seller if they can install Hebrew language on the phone.

  8. Drazuhl

    Hi Kris,

I’m still waiting for this phone but didn’t find any good way to pre-order it yet…

I’m living in Shenzhen, China, so I would really like to get it as soon as it is out, but I’m confused about the pre-order. For Xiaomi M1S, although the M2 is coming out so soon, they apparently sold 300K phones in less than 15 minutes… So for the M2 I’m afraid that I’ll not be able to pre-order it and it might take days or weeks before I can get a grip on it. I’ve been waiting for it since mid-august so I would like to avoid that…

I don’t understand why some website say they can take pre-order, as from what I understand, you have to register with your phone number on the website to participate to the pre-order…

Anyway, I’m confused and as I know you might take one yourself, I was wondering how you will proceed. I know you recommend an online retailer, but as I’m in China I’m not sure it’s a good idea…

    Cheers

    1. Kris Amora

      Hi!

I believe online shops have also ordered several phones from Xiaomi, that’s why they are also pre-selling a limited number of Xiaomi M2 phones on their websites. Xiaomi phones are really hot-selling and it is next to impossible to grab one during its first release. Actually, I’ll just wait until it really gets in stock. I’m not really into pre-ordering.

      Best regards

    No LTE support!?

    1. Kris Amora

From the specs I’ve seen, it does not support LTE. But we’ll see after it launches. Sometimes other features will be added once the phone is released in the market.

Thanks Kris, helpful, great website. I’m Canadian and looking to purchase a first smartphone and since the brand-names are far too expensive I searched for Chinese full features phones. I noticed that phone chargers included are just for Europe. In Canada data plans are very expensive vs. to other countries therefore I want a phone that has Wi-fi and GPS. I use my mobile just for important calls in and out but if I have wi-fi I’ll certainly use more. We are going for a tour of Central America when wi-fi and gps would be very useful any suggestion which phone should i look into. many thanks, maria

    1. Kris Amora

Hello Maria! You can request for the specific type of charger for your country. WiFi and GPS are available in these China phones. You can also download and use Skype.

I highly recommend Xiaomi M2. It is in stock at Fastcardtech right now if you are interested.

  11. HBk KiNgZ

Hi. I would like to know which is better..xiaomi mi2 or xiaomi mi1s

    1. Kris Amora

Hi! Definitely Xiaomi Mi2. But it may not be in stock.

  12. Patrick DeStefano

I am studying abroad in Shanghai, but I’m from the USA. I am worried that if I purchase a Xiaomi M2, it may not work when I return to the USA and insert my AT&T Wireless sim card into it. Do you have any knowledge if it is compatible with this service provider?

    1. Kris Amora

I think AT&T has a 3G frequency of 850/1900 MHz. Xiaomi M2 has a 3G frequency of 850/1900/2100 MHz, so the phone will work with your service provider. Just confirm it with your carrier.

Where i can buy in Malaysia?

    1. Kris Amora

Hi! I don’t think it is available in Malaysia unless someone from your country imports it. For now it is available only in China but you can buy it online at Fastcardtech. They ship worldwide including Malaysia. For more information, click here.

  14. GK

Hi There, do you know if it has Google play store app or do I need to install this myself

    1. Kris Amora

It has Google Play Store already.

  15. Rob

Hello, I’m going to buy this phone but…XIAMI X2 is the same of XIAOMI MI-Two???? Is all the same (productor, the bundle, the box ecc. ) or it is a clone??

Thank you so much and congratulations for your website!!!

    1. Kris Amora

Hi! Yes they are the same. The official name is Xiaomi MI-Two or MI-2.

  16. Kay

    Dear Kris,

You recommend Fastcardtech. They however have this policy of not accepting creditcards over $300. They only accept money transfer at that point. I’m having some trust issues with that. The transactions you have had with them, did they include wire transfers?

    Kind regards,

    Kay

    1. Kris Amora

Hi! I have purchased via Western Union and Paypal. I haven’t tried bank-to-bank transfers. I understand that it’s not easy to trust online transactions. All I can assure you is that Fastcardtech is a legitimate online shop which I trust. I would suggest that you purchase something cheaper for the first time and pay via wire transfer just to gauge their reliability.
