Xiaomi Mi6 may be delayed
Previous reports claim that Xiaomi Mi6 will launch on April 16, 2017. However, reliable sources revealed that it is highly unlikely that the first phone to feature the 10 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will debut in April. In fact, the earliest it could possibly launch is on May.
The main reason for the delay is because of stock problems of the Snapdragon 835. At present, the 10 nm process chip is facing production shortage due to the limitations of the existing technology. Actually, it is not only Qualcomm that has this issue. Apple A10X, MediaTek Helio X30, and Samsung Exynos 8895 all have stock shortages.
Specifications and price
So far, Xiaomi has done a good job of keeping the mobile phone confidential because until now, there are no actual Mi-6 pictures. Also, information about the flagship smartphone is limited. But recently, an analyst revealed that the Mi6 phone will use an ultra-narrow frame design. The phone will have two versions – Xiaomi Mi6 with a 5.15-inch screen and Mi6 Plus with a 5.7-inch display. Rumors also came out about a version with a ceramic body. Meanwhile, here are the other specs that we know:
Millet 6 | Millet 6 Plus
CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa Core 2.5GHz
Memory / Storage: 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM | 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM | 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM

Unfortunately, the anticipated price of 1999 yuan price range for the Xiaomi Mi6 may be difficult to achieve due to the rising costs. Expect the price of the phone to reach 2999 yuan, which is still quite affordable compared to other flagship smartphones.
UPDATE: Xiaomi Mi 6 was launched on April 19.
