Xiaomi Mi6 latest information
Speculations about the upcoming flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi6 is running hot. According to some reports, the Mi6 will be launched in two versions. One will be sporting a 5.15 inch screen and the other a 5.7 inch display which could be named Mi6 Plus. Both could be equipped with the full version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and Sony IMX400 sensor. The Mi 6 is expected to be officially released in April.
Accordingly, Xiaomi Mi6 will have a narrow border and an improved black edge. The RAM will be 4GB DDR4 and the internal storage 32GB UFS2.0 for the standard version. It will also support USB 3.1 connection.
Reportedly, the body thickness of the Mi6 will be around 8mm, mainly due to the camera module. It cannot equal Xiaomi Mi5C’s ultra-thin design. The battery capacity is 3200 mAh. The price is around 1999 yuan.
However, due to Sapdragon 835 processor’s limited production, a June deployment to the market would be most likely. But if the rumors are true, where Xiaomi Mi6 will be launched in April, the flagship smartphone could be sold in a limited number initially.
Xiaomi Mi6 Plus
On the other hand, the Mi6 Plus will use a 5.7-inch OLED display. However, the phone’s surprise feature is the utilization of a dual main camera design, possibly using Sony IMX362 sensor located in the upper left corner of the back.
In addition, the Mi6 Plus will be 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM storage combination. Other specifications are basically the same as with the Mi6. The price for the Mi6 Plus is around 2499 yuan.
